Pure D-Mannose contains D-Mannose. D-Mannose is a naturally occurring sugar (birch, corn, fruits such as cranberries). Due to its special nature, D-mannose is not used by the human body and is excreted almost unchanged via the kidneys into the bladder and urinary tract. Phytopharma D-Mannose pure is a registered medical product. Effectiveness and safety have been tested in accordance with the European Medical Device Directive (93/42 / EEC).

Mode of operation

D-mannose is competitively bound to mannose-sensitive bacteria in the ureter and the bladder. The pili of the bacteria are thus saturated and are no longer available for binding to epithelial cells of the mucous membrane. The D-mannose can thus impair or prevent the binding of the E-coli bacteria to the epithelial cells. Phytopharma D-Mannose tablets are used to maintain healthy bladder function, to prevent problems with the urinary tract and the urinary tract and to prevent bladder infections.

Application

• For prevention: suck 1 tablet twice a day.
• In acute cases: suck up to 6 tablets throughout the day.
