Description:
Bonal FOLIC is a food supplement, with folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12, for pregnant women, those who have and wish to have children or who are breastfeeding.
If the personal reserves are sufficient, the child is taken care of from the start and in the best possible way. The fetus needs a large amount of folic acid for its rapid growth. It is therefore recommended to ensure a daily intake of 600 micrograms – an amount that is not achievable with an ordinary diet. The vitamin is important for the proper functioning of cell division and for the development of the embryo. Folic acid deficiency increases the likelihood of miscarriage and the risk of fetal malformations such as neural tube defects in the spinal cord and brain.
Preparations to ensure a good start to the new life, therefore, begin before pregnancy.
